**Job Description**

As a (Senior) Software Engineer - DevEx, you are a member of the R&D Software DevOps team and responsible for the development and operation of our CI/CD systems.

- You support the implementation of strategically important IT projects and work closely with software developers to provide an efficient development environment.
- You continuously advance our development workflows (On-Premise / Cloud) and contribute your own ideas.
- You monitor compliance with DevOps processes and maintain close communication with the teams, ensuring software quality at all times.
- You administer our Continuous Integration and Deployment systems and advocate for a strong development culture within the team.
- You serve as a key interface between Global Software Development and IT Operations.
- You administer and maintain developer-specific production systems such as Bitbucket or Jenkins.

**Qualifications**

- You hold a university degree in Computer Science, Natural Sciences (e.g., Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics), or a related field, or alternatively have vocational training and/or experience in DevOps or related areas.
- Ideally, you have expertise in at least one scripting language such as Python or Groovy, as well as knowledge in areas like Linux, Windows, and macOS server administration, Ansible, cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure), or tools such as the Atlassian Suite, Jenkins, and JFrog Artifactory.
- Experience in creating build chains for C++ programs is a plus.
- You enjoy contributing your own ideas and working in international teams.
- Ideally, you are comfortable communicating in English and thrive in an international environment.
