In the position of Senior/Managing Consultant you are responsible for managing medium/large projects and project teams and client personnel.You work in international and in Lufthansa Group inhouse consultancy projects and represent Lufthansa Consulting on public occasions.

In addition you will

- independently create tailored consultancy services and problem solutions, take responsibility for developing consultancy strategies
- prepare and present case studies, speeches and publications
- support or lead proposal preparation in coordination with the respective Solution Group Leader and participate in or lead sales pitches
- participate in projects in related areas of the aviation industry
- assume an active role in internal knowledge transfer and management by finalization of project documentation and preparation of lessons learned and case studies
- actively lead product development (including training, team and provider management) within the Solution Group, as well as participate in company-wide tasks (e.g. optimizing internal processes, participating in internal projects and working groups)

Ihr Profil:

You need several years of experience in consultancy and aviation with focus on Airline Network and Fleet Management including network/hub design, fleet selection and route studies/airport route development. Experience in scheduling is a plus. Excellent Communication skills in English are mandatory.

- University Degree in business administration/economics or relevant expertise and studies Experience as a management consultant, preferably in the airline or airport industry with a focus on Airline Network and Fleet Management is mandatory. This may include network/hub design, fleet selection and route studies
- Experience with industry data sources and airline network planning tools.
- Knowledge of big data analytics and machine learning approaches to Network Planning
- Exposure to multiple airline business models, including Low Cost Carriers
- Ability to take a “big picture” view of airline or airport strategy
- Strong project management skills including team and client management and engaging with senior client leadership
- International experience; willingness for intensive business travel worldwide
