A Snapshot of Your Day 

In this role, you are working as a Senior Business Controller for our Gas Services Distributed Global Service Operations team and act as a close finance partner to the operational management.  Your responsibilities include guiding and optimizing financial performance, analyzing data, identifying trends, and offering essential advice on controlling matters.

You will work in close collaboration with our Distributed Service business partner, the Execution Unit business controlling team, and colleagues from different regions worldwide.Each day presents chances to enhance processes, digitalize workflows, and further develop your analytical skills, allowing you to transform data into valuable strategic insights.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

* Handle a wide range of reporting topics and core controlling activities with focus on forecasting, planning and monthly reporting 
* Analyze financial data and independently evaluate Actuals and Forecasts with a critical, solution-oriented mindset
* Act as a strategic commercial partner to the Distributed Service leadership team, shaping financial direction and supporting key decisions
* Manage data collection and processing, ensuring precise inputs into EPM+ and other controlling tools
* Review financial figures to confirm their accuracy and reasonableness, and deliver comprehensive commentary and presentations to facilitate well-informed decision-making

What You Bring

* University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance/Accounting, or a related discipline, along with long-term relevant experience
* High proficiency in digital tools and a strong interest in process optimization. Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret, structure, and visualize complex financial data for diverse internal stakeholders
* Comprehensive knowledge of business operations and their financial implications, with the capability to independently compile accurate facts and figures for management review
* Strong intercultural awareness and the ability to collaborate effectively across countries and time zones
* Advanced English skills suitable for a global work environment
* A collaborative, dynamic, and results‑oriented personality with strong networking and communication abilities

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
