The aspiration of our approximately 800 employees: Together, we want to 'ACHIEVE MORE'.  ABOUT THE TEAM PORTFOLIO STRATEGY & BI Portfolio Strategy & BI is the decision-making accelerator for our product portfolio: we create transparency, establish clear priorities and deliver fact-based insights - enabling CHEPLAPHARM to deploy resources in a targeted manner, make decisions faster and create sustainable value. We work throughout the entire product life cycle - from 'What should we invest in?' to 'How do we optimise value and risk?' to 'When and how do we exit?'. To do this, we combine strategic thinking with data & analytics and build scalable tools (e.g. SharePoint, Power BI, automation). Our work comprises two pillars: (1) portfolio strategy (e.g. lifecycle management, value optimisation, pricing/COGS initiatives, exits, portfolio governance) and (2) competitive and business intelligence (market and competition analyses, risk tracking, dashboards/reporting). What makes your day with us special: Portfolio Optimisation & Pruning Establish continuous portfolio pruning by stopping low-value projects and eliminating underperforming SKUs to streamline operations and free up resources. Identify and drive simplification levers across the portfolio and operations to reduce unrewarded complexity. Value & Margin Optimization Drive profitability through product, channel, and COGS optimization, maintaining updated business cases to reflect evolving cost and value drivers. Support lifecycle extension strategies, including reformulations, market expansions, and strategic divestments to enhance long-term product value. Growth & Strategic Evaluation Lead commercial due diligence for M&A and identify organic growth opportunities, such as geographic expansions and new product launches. Develop robust business cases and feasibility validations, ensuring full lifecycle ownership from integration through execution. Governance & Cross-functional Execution Coordinate execution across functions (Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial) and manage project governance to ensure decision readiness for senior stakeholders. What sets you apart: Academic & Professional Background Degree in Business, Economics, or Finance with 6-9 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting (MBB/Tier 2) focusing on operations or value optimization. Proven track record in international healthcare, life sciences, or related industries. Financial & Analytical Expertise Strong analytical skills with deep expertise in P&L drivers and margin-focused initiatives. Ability to translate complex data into actionable value-creation strategies. Leadership & Communication Hands-on execution mindset with experience leading cross-functional teams and complex projects. Business fluency in English and in German.
