The businesses combine many years of experience, in-depth expertise in international plant engineering, an extensive installed base and close customer relationships. # Your responsibilities
- You will play a key role in managing international EPC projects in chemical and industrial plant construction with medium to high complexity.
- In this leadership position, you manage diverse project teams in an agile matrix organization and ensure successful project delivery.
- You act as a bridge between sales and execution: collaborate with sales teams to develop proposals, contribute to bid strategies, and translate project delivery experience into compelling value propositions.
- Drive client engagement throughout the project lifecycle: proactively manage relationships, communicate value, and position follow-on opportunities while ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Independently plan, structure, and execute projects, actively managing risks and ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and schedule targets.
- Support bid preparation with project management input such as schedules, cost estimates, and execution concepts.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including customers, and represent the company confidently and professionally.
# Your profile
- Master’s degree in Engineering (ideally in Mechanical or Process Engineering) or a comparable discipline.
- Proven experience as a (Senior) Project Manager in EPC projects within chemical or industrial plant construction. This must include significant experience leading early phase development (FEED) and/or high-value strategic tenders (Bid Lead).
- A strong seller-doer mindset is essentialthe ability to identify client needs, shape compelling solutions, and build trust for repeat business while ensuring delivery excellence.
- Exceptional leadership skills to lead diverse project teams in an agile matrix organization.
- Solid knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, SAP.
- Excellent intercultural communication skills in English and a results-oriented working style.
- Project Management certification (PMI, PRINCE2, or IPMA) are preferred.
- High sense of responsibility, team orientation, flexibility, pragmatism, and commitment.
- Willingness to travel internationally is required.
