Join our team as a Senior QA/QC Engineer - Electrical (m/f/d) supporting data center projects in Frankfurt.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
* Conduct Quality Inspections: Perform comprehensive inspections of electrical systems, including wiring, components, and installations, to verify compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspection findings, including discrepancies, non-conformities, and corrective actions. Generate comprehensive reports summarizing inspection results and recommendations for improvement.
* Testing and Evaluation: Conduct functional tests and performance evaluations of electrical systems and components to validate their reliability, safety, and efficiency. Utilize specialized equipment and tools as necessary to assess system functionality and performance.
* Compliance Assurance: Stay abreast of EU directives, regulations, and standards relevant to electrical systems, including the Low Voltage Directive (LVD), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive, and Machinery Directive. Ensure that electrical installations and components meet the requirements outlined in these directives and standards.
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Several years of hands-on construction experience, conducting inspections, evaluating compliance, and implementing corrective actions.
* Proven experience in data centers, high-tech, or comparable complex construction environments.
* Thorough understanding of electrical systems, components, and installations, including wiring, circuitry, distribution panels, and control systems.
* Knowledge and experience with power tools, testing equipment, test lamps, measuring devices, power construction equipment.
* Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
* Advanced knowledge of EU directives, regulations, and standards pertaining to electrical systems, including the LVD, EMC Directive, and relevant EN standards.
* Very good English language skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage.
* Willingness to travel within Germany as required by the project assignments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse stakeholders.
