**Job Description**

Help us take our current cutting-edge solution that **connects and controlls our industry-leading instrument portfolio** to the next level by **continuously enhancing** and **refining** it on an **exceptionally high standard**. You will not only work with **AI-assisted development tools** — you will also **support their practical adoption within the team** and apply your expertise to steadily refine our engineering workflows.

- You will **translate architectural visions** into **robust, scalable code** and are a **part of our internal agile Software Development Team**.
- You will deliver **clean, maintainable**, and **high‑performance software** in an **object‑oriented programming language**, **code generated or assisted by AI** – such as RooCode or Codex – and **help to integrate AI effectively into our daily workflows.**
- You will **design** and **maintain APIs**, **protocols** and **data formats** that **ensure seamless interoperability across systems**.
- You will **collaborate closely** with **fellow developers**, offering support and sharing expertise while helping to shape innovative solutions for integrating internal and external systems.

- You will **explore emerging technologies**, **build new features** and continuously improve the functionality of our devices.
- You will **work closely with interdisciplinary teams** in an **international** and **dynamic environment** – from IT and QA to Marketing and Customer Service.

**Qualifications**

- You have successfully finished your academic education in Computer Science, Natural Science (e.g. Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics) or similar.

- You demonstrate **strong expertise** in **service‑oriented software development** and experience in **software for device integration**, **connectivity** or **synchronization**.

- You have **handson experience** with **AI-assisted coding**, a **strong affinity** for **applying AI-tools in software development** and a **clear understanding of both their potential** and their **current limitations**. **In addition, good knowledge in modern C++ would be mandatory.**

- Your **agile mindset enables you to break down requirements** and design them into manageable increments and pieces.

- More over, you are **very open to different technologies**, keep yourself up to date with new tools and – if necessary – are willing to learn new ones.
