You are acting as a Software Developer (m/f/d) Architect for embedded real time software for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.
Your responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace systems
- Implement AI and deep learning algorithms to improve system functionality, such as sensor data processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, to ensure seamless integration of software solutions into avionics systems
- Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254) and safety-critical software development practices
- Conduct testing, validation, and verification of software to meet aerospace requirements
Your profile:
- Completed studies in computer science, aerospace engineering or a comparable
- Professional experience in the field of IT/information systems and aerospace
- Proven experience in embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications
- Familiarity with avionics standards (e.g., ARINC 653, DO-178C) and safety-critical software development
- Experience in C/C++ and/or Ada and real-time operating systems (e.g., VxWorks)
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and deep learning techniques
- Fluent English spoken and written
- German is a plus
