· Analyzing and extending existing software systems and applications in a
heterogeneous, complex IT system environment based on an IBM mainframe
architecture with the systems DB2, IMS / CICS etc.

· Completed studies in practical / applied computer science or training as
an IT specialist
· Experience in the mainframe environment with COBOL and in the conception
of software as well as tuning options with practice in database modeling
· Practical experience with complex SQL queries as well as database
performance analyses and their optimization
· Confident handling of database management systems, preferably DB2 and
the associated database languages and tools
· Knowledge of the structures in TWS / OPC for setting up automated batch
processes
· Practical experience in IT project management, e.g. process risk
analysis, requirements management, business client communication
· Analytical and strategic thinking as well as a solution-oriented
approach
· Good English language skills, knowledge of German and/or French is an
advantage
