What you`ll do

We are looking for a team-oriented and results-driven Software Developer (f/m/d), who likes to follow agile engineering practices and is enthusiastic to gain knowledge in the architecture and processes of SAP’s cloud solutions.


As a Software Developer (f/m/d) within the RDP (Responsible Design & Production) team you will:

- Become an active part of the complete software life cycle of our cloud solution (backlog definition, specification, design, implementation, quality assurance, delivery, operation, and maintenance)


- Take the responsibility for software components and services


- Possess software development skills with a passion to build high quality applications


- Deliver your assigned tasks / responsibilities on time, ensure quality and performance


- Work in agile development environment which requires the individual to be self-driven, take decisions independently as well as be flexible


- Collaborate intensively with colleagues inside and outside of your teams (Scrum/Scrum of Scrum) and as well with the management


What you bring

- University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering


- Good skills in object-oriented programming, tools and platforms (Java, Javascript/UI5, Node.js, Git, Deployment Pipeline, RDBMS, Cloud Foundry)


- Knowledge in Software Design Patterns and Software Engineering like micro services, message queuing or API design


- Ability to work in an international, agile product development environment


- Analytical and architectural skills


- Ability to easily acquire understanding in new areas


- Good written and verbal communication skills; fluent Business English; German is a plus


- First software development experience
