Your prospective job:
For our international client in the field of aviation and space, we are looking for you as an Software Engineer C++ (m/f/d) Aerospace with focus on simulator software in Bremen.
Your responsibilities:
- Development, design and implementation of full life-cycle simulation software
- Improvement of the simulation framework, user front-end and test/debug interfaces and tools
- Task Performance throughout the software lifecycle (software requirements, architecture, design, code, test, integration and documentation)
- Coordination with customers and internal software teams (design, review and timely delivery of simulators)
- Support for our customer teams during mission preparation and maintenance of simulators
Your profile:
- Completed studies with a degree in engineering (PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering) or a comparable qualification
- High competence in modern C++, Python, Linux
- Work experience as an IT Developer or software engineer in the field of simulation would be an advantage
- Work experience in the space sector (ground station software) would be an advantage
- Technical Knowledge of federated simulation and co-simulation would be a plus
- Know-How of Qt, Git, DOORS and JIRA and embedded software is an advantage
- Understanding of ECSS-SMP tools/environments and software standards (e.g. ECSS-E-ST-40C- or DO-178B) would be a plus
- Fluent in English, written and spoken, German is not mandatory
