Your prospective job:
You are acting as a Software Integration & Verification Engineer (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth.

Your responsibilities:

- Analysis, refinement, and maintenance of software requirements while ensuringclarity, consistency, traceability, and compliance with system requirements and certification standards - military
- Analysis of software requirement specifications for embedded systems
- Participation in the definition and continuous improvement of the verification and test strategy in coordination with the software architecture and system requirements
- Definition, adaptation, and implementation of test strategies for software and embedded systems Systems
- Development, expansion, and maintenance of test scenarios, test procedures (automated or manual), and simulation models for integration and qualification tests
- Development and implementation of test plans and test cases for integration and qualification tests
- Conducting integration and formal qualification tests on the software test bench, evaluating the results, performing root cause analyses, and creating detailed problem reports
- Conducting formal qualification tests on the software test benches in accordance with DO-178C and the corresponding certification processes
- Investigation of problems and preparation of problem reports
- Creation, maintenance, and delivery of high-quality verification and test documentation
- Creation and provision of software documentation and reports
- Ensuring software quality and compliance with applicable certification standards (e.g., DO-178C)
- Collaborate with systems, avionics, and safety engineering teams to translate multidisciplinary inputs into clear, testable, and actionable software requirements
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including systems and flight test engineers
- Support and coordination of testing activities within the team, including prioritization, synchronization, and coordination with other engineering disciplines
- Promotion of and contribution to multidisciplinary cooperation and coordination as an interface between software development, systems engineering, test teams, and certification bodies
- Scrum Master responsibilities: Facilitating agile processes, coordinating sprints, coaching the team on agile principles, and supporting the timely delivery of project results


Your profile:

- Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or comparable
- Professional work experience in Electrical Engineering/Electronics, IT / Information Systems, Project Management and Engineering
- Practical experience in software development for embedded systems
- Experience in software verification, specification, and agile development (Scrum)
- Knowledge of agile principles and practices
- Experience in the specification and/or verification of embedded real-time software
- Familiarity with airworthiness processes and certification standards (e.g., DO-178C)
- Fluent English and good German, both spoken and written
- French is a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally for work
