* Champion Engineering Excellence - Uphold high standards in code quality, modern development practices, and continuous improvement across all web solutions.
* Mentor and Support Developers - Provide practical guidance, regular feedback, and career development opportunities to help developers at all levels grow, upskill, and advance.
* Enable Effective Delivery - Drive predictable and timely outcomes through strong refinement, planning, and risk management, while ensuring capacity is maintained with balanced scheduling.
* Foster Collaboration - Build strong working relationships between developers, QA, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and leadership to ensure smooth workflows and aligned outcomes.
* Align Goals and Performance - Partner with HR and Vendor Management to deliver fair performance reviews, align individual goals with team OKRs, and support personal and collective success.
* Cultivate a Positive Culture - Promote an open, respectful, and results-oriented environment that values contribution, growth, and work-life balance.
Your Profile:
* Excellent English language skills (verbal and written). German language skills are nice to have.
* Proven experience in software development (web and backend) with solid knowledge of coding standards and modern frameworks.
* Experience in leading or managing developers, ideally in SaaS or hosting environments.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to give constructive feedback and coach individuals.
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and modern CI/CD delivery.
* Comfort working in a distributed, multicultural environment and with vendor-sourced teams.
* Experience in the hosting or SaaS domain (e.g., domains, control panels, VPS).
* Background in mentoring engineers for career progression and technical excellence.

Salary:
The minimum annual gross salary for this position is € 60.000,-- (incl. an overtime allowance of 20 hours) for 38.5 hours/week. Actual compensation can be above this, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
