Your prospective job:
For our international client in the aviation and space programs industry, we are looking for you as an Space Architect - Satellite Systems (m/f/d) in Bremen for permanent employment.
Your responsibilities:
- Design-Lead of the satellites Avionics architecture
- Definition and development of the Avionics architecture of the satellite (initial sizing and trade-offs, interface budgets, and hardware performance)
- Management of avionics subsystems (including data handling, telemetry and telecommands, payload data downlink, laser communications terminal, and crypto)
- Design Authority during the detailed design and testing phases
- Management of the interface and control on the physical level and across the protocol stack
- Riskmanagement and mitigation during the development phase
- Test planning and supervision
- Non-conformance closure
Your profile:
- A degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or compatible qualification
- Professional experience in space- or aircraft avionics domain needed
- Profund experience in leading technical teams of at least 2 domains
- Familiar with hardware projects in phase B/C/D in the field of avionics systems
- Fluency in English, spoken and written
- Fluency in German is a plus (company-facilitated trainings available)
