-*WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT*-
The Global Procurement division is responsible for BASF Coatings Group
purchasing activities worldwide. We negotiate contracts that provide BASF
Coatings Group with tangible added value. Our focus areas include the
procurement of raw materials, technical goods and services, as well as
logistics solutions. With our comprehensive market know-how and deep
understanding of value chains, we are a valuable partner for the business
units. Empowered to set bold and innovative negotiation tactics, always
hunting for the best results to positively influence Coatings' financial
outcomes.
· In your new role, you drive negotiation design across various
categories, defining effective tactics and taking full accountability for
their execution.
· You prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of negotiation
outcomes, including commercial terms, pricing and volume allocation,
ensuring complete auditability and compliance.
· Additionally, you continuously evolve and implement advanced negotiation
methods, leveraging principles of behavioral economics and smart auction
design to achieve superior results.
· You also convert negotiation insights into scalable solutions and
frameworks, incorporating digital platforms, auction systems and AI-based
co-pilot solutions.
· Furthermore, you actively support business needs beyond core
responsibilities, taking on roles such as negotiation coach for other
teams.
· Lastly, you lead or contribute to strategic initiatives, ranging from
foundational to advanced projects, including digital transformation and
mentoring programs, to enhance procurement's impact on business
performance.
