## Strategic Buyer - Technical Procurement (m/f/d)

### **Your responsibilities: **
- Procure machinery, components, and services for air separation plants
- Negotiate with national and international suppliers
- Monitor bids, prepare comparisons, and evaluate offers
- Manage supplier qualification, development, and audits
- Ensure compliance with German and international guidelines and laws
- Report project and cost center spend
- Handle claims in collaboration with technical experts
- Lead procurement for selected projects and support subsidiaries on CAPEX projects
- Collaborate closely with related departments
### **Your Profile:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Industrial Engineering *or* in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration with technical exposure
- Minimum 5 years of work experience
- Preferred certifications: CIPS, CPSM, Lean Six Sigma
- **Expertise:**
- Knowledge of plant engineering basics and CAPEX/OPEX procurement
- Skilled in interpreting technical specifications, drawings, and BOMs
- Experience in category management, cost analysis, and contract negotiation
- Knowledge of EPC contract frameworks, commercial law, and ESG compliance
- **Skills:**
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for plant-related materials and services
- Achieve cost reductions while ensuring quality and project goals
- Manage contracts, mitigate supply chain risks, and ensure sustainability
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), e-sourcing platforms, and data analytics tools
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
