Your Prospective Job:
For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as Stress Engineer (m/f/d) in Manching.
Your Responsibilities:
- Sizing of structural parts, components and installations made from metal and carbon fiber materials using state of the art analysis tools, FEM techniques and classic handbook methods
- Trade off analysis for design solutions and structural concepts
- Analysis of mechanical systems and equipment integration
- Preparation of analysis reports and statements to support air frame qualification
- Assessment of damages and development of repairs for in-service A/C
- Support to manufacturing and assembly lines and evaluation of concessions and non-conformities
- Communication to relevant stakeholders and adjacent departments
Your Profile:
- Completed studies in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or comparable
- Several years of professional experience as Engineer in aircraft structural analysis
- Experience in the application of specific stress analysis and FEM tools (e.g. Nastran, Hyperworks etc.)
- Good knowledge of standard stress analysis methods (e.g. HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young)
- Experience in stress analysis of pipe works or impact simulations is a plus
- Fluent German and English skills spoken and written
