A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for the auxiliary systems of our gas turbines, steam turbines and generators, you will be responsible for conducting supplier qualification, development, and quality assurance measures. You will work closely with various departments in a multicultural environment, both locally and globally, within a global supply chain management process. An SQE utilizes digitalization tools to enhance our processes and addresses nonconformances by conducting containment, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing preventive measures and risk mitigation strategies.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

* Support of supplier qualification through cross-functional assessments, audits of supplier capabilities, and evaluation of quality management systems and processes
* Support of product and process qualification across the complete PPQ, including approval of supplier processes based on Manufacturing Quality Control Plans
* Execution of source, virtual, and desk inspections for suppliers of components and systems within the area of responsibility
* Coordination of nonconformance management at supplier level, including follow-up of corrective actions to prevent recurrence
* Monitoring and analysis of supplier KPIs with corresponding adjustment of quality, inspection, and supplier development activities
* Facilitation and support of supplier qualification and development review meetings, including risk identification, status tracking, and assurance of data quality and transparency through quality tools and databases

What You Bring

* Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
* Relevant technical experience with industrial process technology and/or auxiliary systems in energy generation plants
* Relevant professional experience in a technical function and/or in Supply Chain Management or Quality Management
* Experience in conducting supplier audits, including knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements; familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 considered an advantage
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, combined with familiarity with root cause analysis and quality or risk management methodologies
* Willingness to travel as required for the role (approximately 30%)

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
