Collaborating with diverse internal and external teams, you will be the linchpin in integrating supply chain strategies with business objectives.
- You will develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance.
- You will manage supplier relationships, including selection, performance monitoring, and contract negotiations to ensure quality requirements are met.
- You will establish and enforce quality control procedures and standards across the supply chain.
- You will conduct regular supplier audits and internal process assessments to identify and address improvement areas.
- You will lead initiatives to resolve supply chain disruptions and quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- You will collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to align supply chain quality management objectives with broader business goals.
- You will analyze supply chain data and quality metrics to identify trends and report on KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- You will drive continuous improvements within supply chain and quality management systems.

To excel as a Supplier Quality Manager (m/w/d) AIRBUS, you will need to possess a unique blend of technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, and extensive industry understanding. We are seeking a driven and adaptable individual with experience in managing complex supply chains and a passion for quality assurance.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in areas such as Aerospace Studies, Engineering, or Supply Chain Quality Management.
- You have 2+ years of professional experience in the fields of aerospace manufacturing, quality management, or supply chain.
- You have advanced proficiency in Python, SAP, and Google Workspace tools.
- You demonstrate strong knowledge of Lean Management, Kaizen, Project Management, and Total Quality Management problem-solving methods.
- You are fluent in English, with advanced German language skills.
- You are proficient in supply chain planning software and enterprise resource planning systems.
- You possess a strong understanding of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning).
- You have excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- You are willing to travel occasionally (approximately once a month).
