Synthetic Environment - Simulation Software Engineer (m/w/d) Salary: 70000 - 100000 EUR per year. At E Airbus Defence and Space GmbH we are looking for a C++ engineer! Our tech stack: DevOps, Docker, Git, Support, Jenkins, Podman. Requirements: - Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software development
- Very good knowledge in modern C++
- Knowledge in CMake, Conan, Git, Jenkins and Docker/Podman
- Experience in developing distributed / service-oriented systems would be a plus
- Experience in synthetic environments for training simulators would be a plus
- Very good English skills
- Interest in flight simulators, software development and integration. Your responsibilities are: - Design of the service-oriented architecture for the Synthetic Environment based on different project needs
- Design and implement services required by different training simulators in line with stakeholder needs
- Design and implement software interfaces between different services and external systems
- Develop and maintain C++ software solutions to support operational and technical requirements for the simulation of the natural and tactical environment
- Perform continuous integration and testing of developed services
- Apply DevOps principles and tools
- Support software verification activities
- Analyse and fix reported issues
