Your prospective job:
You are acting as a System Engineer (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.

Your responsibilities:

- Analyse client and customer requirements (specifications)
- Develop system and subsystem concepts and designs, ensuring alignment with the existing product reference architecture and compliance with relevant norms and standards
- Prepare technical requirements documentation (specifications) for approval by the client or customer Oversee downstream development and construction activities to secure interoperability and full system functionality
- Supervise production processes, including monitoring material procurement and supplier performance
- Manage system and subsystem integration, oversee qualification activities, and ensure compliance with product safety standards
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals, cost estimations, and schedule planning
- Drive continuous improvement and the evolution of the product reference architecture through the adoption of new technologies


Your profile:

- Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Aerospace or comparable
- Several years of work experience in Engineering and Aerospace
- Experience in requirements management, change management, and system design within aviation systems or test facility development
- Knowledge and practical experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Knowledge of industry standards such as EN61010, EN62368 and aviation-specific standards including EN9100, DO-178C, and DO-330
- Practical experience in system integration as well as conducting qualification, verification and validation tests
- Confident handling of MS-Office
- Familiarity with system engineering tools such as DOORS, Cameo, Jira, 3DExperience Tool Suite, and Capital
- Fluent in English and German, both spoken and written
