#### Your Tasks
In this position, you will work in collaboration with architects and subsystem engineers on tasks like:
- Modelling of the Satellite’s imaging geometry and analysis of the geometric performances
- Pointing performance engineering on subjects like microvibration, thermo-elastic deformation and others.

#### Your Tasks
In this position, you will work in collaboration with architects and subsystem engineers on tasks like:
- Modelling of the Satellite’s imaging geometry and analysis of the geometric performances
- Pointing performance engineering on subjects like microvibration, thermo-elastic deformation and others.
- Implementation of the performance calibration and development of the associated software tools.
- Performance testing at various levels (Satellite, Platform, Units) including the test evaluation.
- Algorithm development for data processing and simulation focused on satellite level aspects such as geometry.
- Implementation and Maintenance of the Satellite Characterization and Calibration Database used for the on-ground data processing
#### Your Qualifications
- University degree in physics, aerospace engineering, remote sensing, or similar
- Professional experience in one or more of the following categories is advantageous
- Satellite design, in particular optical and/or radar missions
- Design & simulation of control systems, multibody systems, mechanisms or similar
- Geometric performances of Earth observation space missions
- End-to-End Simulation of Earth-Observation and/or Science Data
- Experience in programming (e.g. MATLAB, Python)
- Self-managed, solution-oriented and pro-active working style
- Ability to work in a team
- Working level proficiency in written and spoken English and German. Other language skills advantageous
- Willingness to work in defense & surveillance projects
