**Your responsibilities:**
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Process Experts, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
- Drive process plant design and customer supply concepts within project development
- Act as primary contact for all process engineering topics (thermodynamics, hydrodynamics, design, apparatus engineering)
- Optimize processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability; support operations in troubleshooting and plant performance
- Collaborate closely with engineering groups, corporate functions, and international regions to align project goals
- Ensure performance of the process engineering group, meeting deadlines, cost targets, and safety standards
- Provide expert guidance in industrial gas production to ensure high production reliability
**Your profile:**
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Chemical or Process Engineering
- Proven leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing engineering teams
- Strong expertise in industrial gas processes, with focus in at least one core area: air separation, hydrogen production, or carbon capture
- Solid experience in process optimization and lean manufacturing principles
- Strong strategic and operational skills, including project management, resource allocation, and cost control
- Excellent communication skills in English; German proficiency is a plus
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
