**Technical Director
Electronic System Design Tools AE Team.**
**Job Responsibilities:**
- Deep understanding of PCB
and electronic system design and the complexity of technical environments.
- Strong grasp of sales
processes to effectively align technical activities with commercial
objectives.
- Leading and developing a
high-performing team of Application Engineers: providing coaching and
guidance on developing a long-term vision and successfully collaborating
across customers and internal networks
- Facilitating the ongoing
development of team processes and procedures; and building alignment
across Sales and Portfolio Units.
- Ability to work in an
international environment, understanding the multi-cultural aspects of a
team and customers spread in multiple countries.
- Managing resource levels
and skills effectively in the team to ensure coverage for ongoing and
future sales engagements. Ensuring the team is staffed to the planned
headcount and ensures coverage for emerging products
- Keeping team highly
motivated by creating/keeping a strong team spirit and a team “harmony”.
Establish an open communication forum and share experience in the team.
- Providing coaching and
training to facilitate the development of the AEs. Monitoring performance
and driving achievement through the performance review process.
- Collaborating closely with
Sales Management and Account Teams to ensure an efficient and productive
account coverage model that supports growth objectives and meets yearly
numbers.
- Coordinating/facilitating
cross-territory account strategies and technical implementation of plans.
- Overseeing opportunity
plans, prioritization, and development, including Target Account Selling
(TAS) plan development and organizational resource alignment to support
long-term account growth.
- Focusing on developing new
businesses by broadening product usage portfolio and competitive
replacements
- Guiding development of
program plans for driving penetration, adoption, and add-on sales; and
defending existing install base within the account.
- Overseeing collaborative
initiatives with Portfolio Units, ensuring tailored solutions to address
specific customer needs are demonstrated across and optimized for the
broader Key Account base.
- Instill collaboration
attitude with other Siemens EDA and Siemens PL teams (sales, support,
services, other technical products AE teams, …)

## **Qualifications:**
- Leading in a global,
matrixed environment and building relationships and partnerships, both
internally and externally; ability to quickly build trust with senior
leaders as well as collaborate with and motivate a cross-functional team
to develop solutions and overcome obstacles
- Very good interpersonal,
oral and written communication, and presentation skills to all
organizational levels, including executive, C-Level leadership
- Ability to handle
competing priorities with an ability to address and solve problems in a
timely manner. Ability to delegate efficiently.
