What You’ll Build


The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.


Position title: Thesis student (f/m/d) - Feasibility Analysis and/or Conceptual Design of a Model for Aggregated Financial Metrics Based on the Business Data Cloud


Location: Munich, Germany


Internship duration: Max. 4 month


The objective of this thesis is to examine the technical feasibility as well as the data-driven value of a model for aggregated financial metrics based on the Business Data Cloud. Furthermore, the study analyzes to what extent financial metrics (e.g., trial balance, budget variances, or cost structures) can be meaningfully aggregated, analyzed, and visualized within an application. Finally, a conceptual model for potential extensions is developed.

Educational requirements

- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field


Experience level and background

- Bachelor - level student (f/m/d)


What technical skills are essential vs. nice-to-have

- Experience with financial analytics or controlling systems
