With an experienced team comprised of around 200 highly skilled professionals, the company is able to span the entire value chain of biosimilar drug development, from market analysis and target definition by protein analytics, to the development of production processes, to clinical trials and the regulatory approval process.
Our focus is on treatments in ophthalmology and immunology as well as for other key chronic diseases. Formycon is making a major contribution towards providing as many patients as possible with access to vital and affordable medicines.
To support our team in Martinsried near Munich, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Working Student (gn) for 20 hours per week, for a fixed term of one year to start work as soon as possible As a Working Student (gn), you will support our team with the following tasks:
Development of applications, primarily using R Shiny
Development and maintenance of R scripts, packages, and modules
Support in application validation and lifecycle management
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
Testing of applications and program code
Participation in code reviews
Support in creating and reviewing program code for statistical analyses
Enrolled student (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Data Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field
Practical experience working with R
Basic knowledge of statistics
Basic understanding of database structures
Experience with AI-supported development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or similar)
Structured, independent, and reliable working style
Team player with good communication skills
Fluent written and spoken English required; basic German knowledge is an advantage
