Responsibilities
º PhD thesis
Required skills and qualifications
º Diploma degree in biotechnology, molecular biology, cell biology or other equivalent
university degree
º Language skills: English C1 / German A1 or willingness to learn
º Hands-on experience in aseptic techniques and cell culture
º Proficiency in molecular biology, vector design and cloning
º Experience in genetic engineering techniques (e.g. CRISPR-Cas9, transposase, RMCE
technology, etc.)
Desirable skills and qualifications
º Basic understanding of viral vectors and production strategies
º Strong interest in cell line development and cell characterization (e.g. omics)
º Ability to integrate and interpret complex biological data using statistical analysis tools
(e.g. R, Python)
º Strong problem-solving skills and attention to experimental detail
º Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an interdisciplinary research
environment
