# **Working Student (f/m/d) – Computer Science/Bioinformatics**

12–20 hours per week

## ***Your field of responsibility***

- Develop, adapt, and maintain scripts in **Python and R**
- Translate existing workflows into **Python scripts**
- Perform statistical analyses and prepare data for downstream processing
- Support the automation and optimization of analysis pipelines
- Contribute to computational and data-driven projects with biological relevance
- Help in the creation and maintenance of databases

## ***Our expectations***

- **Completed Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)**, preferably in **Computer Science, Bioinformatics**, or a related field
- Currently enrolled in a **Master of Science (M.Sc.)** program (or similar)
- Strong interest in analytics, programming, and scientific data processing
- Solid knowledge of **Python** and **R**
- Basic understanding of statistical methods and applied data analysis
- Comfortable working with structured data formats (CSV, TSV, tables, measurement data)
- Optional but beneficial: Experience with **awk**, Linux/Unix command line, relational databases (**SQL**)
- **Biological background** or interest in biological topics is an advantage
- Independent, reliable, and organized working style
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken, preferably also German proficiency
