Voith Hydro uses the CAE system Engineering Base (EB), a modern and
powerful engineering platform that enables the efficient planning of
entire hydropower plants as functional digital twins.
To provide temporary support for our central Support Team at Voith
Hydro Holding GmbH & Co. KG, we are looking for a committed student
(m/f/d) for the following tasks.
YOUR TASKS
* You are part of the global EB Support Team.
* After intensive training by the Support Team, you will work with
EB and take on responsible tasks within this system.
* You will learn how to work with objects, shapes, and attributes,
and with these skills, you will independently update technical flow
and circuit diagrams that serve as official working documents
worldwide.
* You will also ensure that the contents used in system texts and
selection lists are available in multiple languages and, if necessary,
correct the dictionaries used.
* You support the team in creating new work templates for
automation.
* In the course of your tasks, you will also become familiar with
the functional structure of hydropower plants and the power plant
identification system (KKS).
* You revise and update our “HowTo” guides—practical
step-by-step instructions in English for specific functions in EB.
* Additionally, you will update our training materials (also in
English), which are used for training sessions and as reference works.
YOUR PROFILE
* You are a student (m/f/d) of mechanical engineering, mechatronics,
or a comparable field of study.
* You are interested in working with a highly modern,
object-oriented CAE system. Ideally, you already have some initial
experience with such a system.
* Your analytical skills, structured approach, and quick
comprehension enable you to solve problems effectively, even with
complex tasks.
* You are able to present even more complex issues in a simple and
understandable way, both in writing and graphically.
* Thanks to your confident handling of MS Office, especially
PowerPoint, you are able to create appealing and easily understandable
presentations.
* You are communicative and have very good English skills, both
written and spoken.
* A high degree of curiosity, initiative, and reliability round off
your profile.
* You are eager to work on-site in a motivated team at Voith Hydro
in Heidenheim.
