Aufgaben
* Planning, development and implementation of an optimal data architecture to provide a high-quality basis for use cases in the field of analytics and reporting
* Cooperation with analysts, product managers and backend developers to understand and implement data requirements
* Support in designing and creating new data extraction, transformation and loading processes from different data sources (on-prem & cloud)
* Build and optimize data pipelines and transformation workflows to support data model implementation and data quality
* Ensure data consistency, lineage, and governance across systems and domains
* Continuously improve and refactor existing data models to align with evolving business needs and technical standards
Qualifications
* Several years of professional experience in the areas of data engineering, relational databases and SQL (ideally Oracle)
* Practical experience with the Snowflake Data cloud platform is a benefit
* Experience in the conception and creation of data models and ETL processes
* Technologies and topics such as Git, IaC (e.g. Terraform), CI/CD are not completely new territory for you
* Hands-on experience with dbt (data build tool) would be desirable
* Interest in modern data architectures and a passion for data
* You are characterized by your analytical thinking and good understanding of business processes
* High level of personal responsibility and ability to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment
* B2 English proficiency
