Job description
In your new role you will:

- Support and resolve design community CAD/EDA environment needs and issues
- Monitor/Evaluate/Recommend EDA tool releases and fixes
- Work directly with the package design community to develop solutions that improve quality and efficiency
- Develop, implement and support Digital and Mixed Signal Package design tool flow, methodology and documentation
- Work with design centers to ensure standardization and centralization of the design environment, creating - re-use capability, and developing information sharing mechanisms and participating in cross-functional team collaboration

In this role, a qualified candidate develops and applies computer aided design (CAD/EDA) software engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems. Assessing architecture and hardware limitations, plans technical projects in the design and development of CAD/EDA software.

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- A university degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in IC-Driven package design process/methodology using the Cadence framework
- Experience in QA, automation and related methodologies
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as TCL, Python, Ruby, Perl, Shell, etc.
- Familiarity with collaboration and issue tracking systems (JIRA, Gitlab, Bugzilla, JAMA)
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and worldwide software suppliers
- Fluency in English is required

The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
