The Geschwister Scholl Institute for Political Science (GSI) is one of the leading political science institutes in Europe. Prof. Dr. Klaus Goetz's Chair of Political Systems and European Integration conducts research on a variety of topics. The focus is on time and politics in Europe, governance in the European multi-level system, and the dynamics of the European integration process.
We are looking for you:
# Research Assistant in Survey Design (m/f/x)
in München
## Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Collaboration in the design and implementation of a cross-national survey on temporal preferences
- Preparation of tenders and service descriptions for external survey service providers (e.g., panel providers)
- Design, implementation, and evaluation of survey experiments
- Collaborating on scientific publications with the option of co-authorship
## Your qualifications:
- Completed university degree in social sciences (master's or equivalent); applications from doctoral graduates are welcome
- Very good knowledge of survey research
- Very good English skills
- Independent, structured, and meticulous way of working
**Optional (advantageous):**
- Experience in survey design
- Experience with survey experiments
- Knowledge of survey software and/or statistics software/programming languages (e.g., R, Python)
