# Research Position in Human-Computer Interaction

We work toward improving interaction with immersive technologies through novel user interfaces and interaction techniques by studying human perceptual processing, behavior, and experience. The advertised PhD/Postdoc position should take a focus on supporting **social human-human and human-AI interactions** **in mixed reality** (AR, VR and all in-between), investigating both fundamental and applied research questions.

We are looking for a candidate who is inherently curious, self-driven, and independent in their research, but also values teamwork and thrives in collaboration. The working language is English.

## Your Responsibilities

- Independently explore HCI topics through the development and evaluation of interactive systems
- Disseminate research results at top-level international venues through publications and presentations
- Contribute to teaching and supervision within the CS curriculum
- Postdoc: Co-advise doctoral researchers and contribute to new funding applications
- Actively participate in activities of our research group and department

## Your Competencies

- Background in Computer Science, or equivalent, with respective graduate degree
- Good knowledge of HCI-related concepts (e.g., user-centered design and evaluation)
- Solid development skills for interactive systems (e.g., Unity, web technologies)
- An avid interest in interactive Mixed Reality technologies (VR, AR, etc.)
- Expertise in statistical data analysis is optional but beneficial
- Excellent English language skills in speech and writing
