WHAT ARE MY RESPONSIBILITIES?
Our department Upstream Iron & Steelmaking (UP I&S AG) is looking for support and assigns the following tasks:
* Responsible to lead and coordinate activities for bid-projects in worldwide market
* Responsible for bid-project development working in a multinational team

* Development of technical solutions and plant concepts tailored to customer requirements and inquiry specifications
* Organization and implementation of customer visits, technical presentations and lectures
* Responsible for bid-project management including technical specification, reporting, time scheduling and cost calculation
* Coordinate with relevant departments and Primetals Technologies locations for technical and project-related issues as well as cost calculation
* Coordinate engineering activities together with engineering team
* Coordinate inquiries for equipment and negotiate with different sub suppliers for respective offers in cooperation with procurement and technical management department
* Responsible for the preparation of technical and commercial offers with specific focus on costs and deadlines
* Contract negotiations with customers, consortium partners and suppliers in compliance with Primetals Technologies regulations and guidelines
WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY FOR THIS JOB?
* HTL Maschinenbau / Elektrotechnik or graduate of technical university
* Has basic knowledge and experience in industrial plant building
* Has basic technical knowledge of iron ore agglomeration technologies
* Has experience in bid-project management or project management
* Can prepare and deliver technical presentations (PowerPoint)
* Willingness to travel
* Speaks fluently English
On a personal level, you enjoy working in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams. You have excellent organization, communication, negotiation and team management skills.
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
The minimum annual gross salary for this position under the collective agreement and assuming that all requirements are met is EUR 47.546,94 (E/00). This could rise considerably, depending on qualifications and experience. Our Pioneers at Heart receive ongoing training in a wide range of areas through the "Metals Academy". In addition, we offer further benefits: From flexible working hours and home office options to free parking and discounted lunch menus. We also offer a voluntary sixth week of holiday from the age of 50.
